Online Application for a Grant

Please read the information about applying for grants available on this web site before completing this form.

Grants are available from the IEEE Foundation and the IEEE Life Members Committee.   The Grants committee contains representatives from both bodies to ensure the best match between the funding bodies and each grant request.

It is recommended that you create all your content in a text editor and save for future use with reports, then cut and paste into the form.

An example project has been developed in order to show how to fill in these online forms. Click to view the purpose of this example, as well as the completed application form, budget spreadsheet, and cash flow statement.

Two items of financial information, a budget and a cash flow statement, must be sent separately and immediately following the submission of this application form. Otherwise your application will not be processed. Please read and follow the instructions in steps 3.15 and 3.16 below.

The maximum number of characters (including any spaces) for each entry is specified and can not be exceeded.   Complete all sections of this form and submit using the button at the bottom of this form.   Incomplete forms will not be considered.   If sections of this form denoted by * are not completed, you will not be able to submit your application.   The email address you enter in step 2.2, will be used by the IEEE Foundation to respond to your application.

If you have questions regarding the information required for any section of this form, please contact the IEEE Foundation by email at or telephone +1 732 981 3435.
