The IEEE Foundation Board of Directors is committed to furthering the educational and scientific goals of IEEE by awarding grants to IEEE units or other charitable organizations for new and innovative projects.

Grants awarded by the IEEE Foundation are supported from three sources: the IEEE Foundation General Fund, IEEE Humanitarian Technology Fund, or IEEE Life Members Fund.  The Grants Committee contains representatives from both the IEEE Foundation and the IEEE Life Members Committee to ensure the best match between the funding bodies and each grant request.

To submit an application, open the Grant Application Form below, complete all sections of the form, save it as a PDF file or MS Word document, and submit it as an e-mail attachment to the IEEE Foundation using "IEEE Foundation Grant Application" as the Subject line of your e-mail message.

The maximum number of characters (including any spaces) for each entry is specified and cannot be exceeded.  Please note: The e-mail address you enter in section 5.1, will be used by the IEEE Foundation staff to respond to your grant application.
