Promote integration as well as development of analytical methodologies and computational techniques to enhance:

• Grid operation and planning
• Energy transaction, system dispatch, and power marketing
• Power quality, reliability, stability, and energy services
• RTO/ISO applications and system integration

Encourage research and development of advanced analytical algorithms to solve power system problems. Investigate innovations in computer applications to facilitate implementation of the analytical algorithms. Advocate state-of-the-art Internet technology to integrate data, algorithms, and applications. Sponsor technical papers, panel sessions, and workshops to provide effective dissemination of advanced technologies related to the subcommittee activities. Coordinate such activities where appropriate with other IEEE committees and subcommittees.
