If links to the password protected pages do not work, try the following:
  • Make sure you have the latest Internet Explorer browser (IE7)
  • In the Tools menu at the top of the page, click on Internet Options…
  • Under the Security tab, click on the Custom Level button
  • Scroll down and enable Allow websites to prompt for information using scripted windows

An alternate, easier solution is to make this  website a  "Trusted  Site"  on  IE, and
that will automatically  adjust the above settings for this site only.
