Website:  https://ewh.ieee.org/conf/basics2/

We are accepting original papers in English that are not only scientifically and technically sound, but also solidly written by observing all the common practices in technical writing. Initial submissions should be either 2 pages (extended summery, for preliminary screening only, not recommended) or 4-6 pages long (full papers, required for the final submission, highly recommended). The papers should be in US letter size, double column, 10 points Times New Roman font, single spaced, and without page numbers (please see https://www.ieee.org/portal/cms_docs/pubs/confpubcenter/pdfs/samplems.pdf for more formatting details). Papers not observing the requested format will be declined without review. Final acceptance will be pending the reviewers’ comments and compliance with all the conference requirements and paid registration for at least one presenting author for each accepted paper. Please note that (a) only full papers (4-6 pages, revised according to the reviewers’ comments) will be accepted for the final submission, (b) presenter’s registration deadline is April 2nd, and (c) each paid registrant can present a maximum of two papers; otherwise the corresponding paper(s) will be excluded from the conference and its proceedings.

Important Dates:

Full paper/extended summary submission deadline: 1/31/2008

Acceptance notices: 3/1/2008

Final papers (full papers and completed copyright forms): 4/2/2008
