The
first Conference on Innovative Smart Grid Technologies, sponsored by the IEEE
Power & Energy Society (PES), hosted by the National Institute of Standards
and Technology (NIST) and technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Communications
Society (ComSoc), the IEEE Computer Society, the IEEE Power
Electronic Society (PELS), the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) and
IEEE-USA , will be held January 19‐21, 2010 in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
The Conference will be a forum for the participants to discuss the
state‐of‐the‐art innovations in smart grid technologies, and will offer
practical applications and near-term solutions. The Conference will feature
special sessions and tutorials by international experts on smart grid
applications.

Registration Requirements:
Due to the NIST's "secured
facility" regulations, pre-registration for this meeting is REQUIRED prior to
the deadline. NO on-site registration will be available at the conference.
Instructions regarding the required Government-Issued Identification and Meeting
Site Check-in Requirements will be issued to registrants in advance of the
meeting.
