Alberto Borghetti is Associate Professor at the University of Bologna where he is working since 1994 at the Electric Power Systems Laboratory (LISEP). His main research interests concern power system analysis, with particular reference to voltage collapse, power system restoration after black-out, electromagnetic transients, optimal generation scheduling and distribution system operation. He is associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid.
