P3C042-06. Robust Strain Estimation Using Adaptive Dynamic Grid-Interpolation Model

Tissue strain imaging is a new technology for imaging tissue hardness information using ultrasound, and it is being used for diagnosing breast cancer etc. However, the method currently being used often induces errors in poor signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) areas such as low-echo areas. Therefore, this paper proposes a method that can robustly estimate a strain distribution in poor SNR areas. In order to use the adaptive dynamic grid interpolation (ADGI) model with a correlation coefficient in the proposal method, errors in the poor SNR areas are corrected and a high spatial resolution is maintained in the good SNR area.
