RegistrationAdvance on-line registration is now closed. Registration re-opens on-site on Sunday, 25 July at 9:00AM CDT in the Section 200 Foyer, 2nd floor, Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota USA. IN AND AROUND THE REGISTRATION AREA (MCC) Section 200 Foyer, Level 2 Sunday 25 July 9:00AM - 8:00PM Monday 26 July-Tuesday 27 July 6:30AM - 7:00PM Wednesday 28 July 6:30AM - 4:00PM Thursday 29 July 6:30AM - 12:00PM All attendees are required to register for the 2010 General Meeting and pay the appropriate fee in order to participate in any aspect of the meeting. At the registration counters, you may pick up your advance registration packets, register on-site, and purchase tickets for the Awards Dinner, Student/Industry/Faculty Luncheon, Mississippi Riverboat Cruise or companion and leisure tours (pending availability). For general information about the meeting, please visit the adjacent Information Booth. Conference Proceedings: All registrants for the technical program are entitled to one copy of the conference proceedings on a USB flash drive which you will receive with your registration packet. Additional copies of the proceedings will be available for sale during the meeting in the Paper Market and after the meeting through IEEE Customer Service (http://www.ieee.org). INCLUDED WITH REGISTRATION (back to top) Delegate registration fees include: Continental breakfasts Monday-Thursday, Welcome Reception Sunday evening, Poster Session, Meet the Candidates Reception and Fellows Reception on Monday evening, full technical session and committee meeting program, a copy of the meeting’s proceedings on a USB flash drive, the opportunity to participate in any of the available optional events open to registrants only, at the prevailing registrant rate. Companion registration fees include: Continental breakfasts Monday-Thursday in the Companion Lounge, Welcome Reception on Sunday evening, Poster Session, Candidates Reception and Fellows Reception on Monday evening, companion lounge Monday-Thursday, the opportunity to participate in companion tours and any of the other available optional events open to registered companions at the prevailing registered companion rate. Companions are not admitted to technical session nor do they receive a copy of the proceedings. local volunteers, you can obtain information about the meeting, the
venues and the Meet Minneapolis Booth: Make your restaurant reservations here, plus obtain information about what to see and do in the Twin Cities area. Message Center: A bulletin board where you can find last Paper Market: Preprints of the Transactions papers presented during the meeting, copies of the meeting's proceedings and special publications/tutorials will be available for sale. (MCC) Section 200 Foyer. Please check on-site for exact hours. Conference Shirt: A blue polo shirt embroidered with the 2010 General Meeting logo will be available for sale in the Paper Market for $20. NOTE: Room designations below containing (MCC) indicate locations in the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Hilton Hotel is attached to the MCC via the indoor Skywalk on Level 2 or outdoors via city sidewalks. Walk time on the Skywalk is approximately five minutes. Please allow additional time to locate your session or meeting room.
* Companion and Children registration entitles you to the conference social events including: Companion's room, Sunday Welcome Reception, Poster Session and the ability to sign up for Companions tours at the prevailing rates. ** No multiple One Day registrations allowed. *** Must be two consecutive days. No Multiple Two Day Registrations allowed.
To request a cancellation for your meeting registration, please login to your registration profile and click on ‘Send a cancellation request’ link. This will be the only accepted method to submit a refund request. A processing fee of $50 US will be charged for cancellations received on or before 30 June 2010. Afterward, refund requests will be considered on an individual basis until 15 August only, with a response by 30 August. Refunds pertain to registration fees only. See program for details. Cancellations and refunds are NOT available for tours, luncheons or dinners.
