There are two ways to register:

• The preferred method of registration is by using the online registration process.
• Alternatively, one can register by completing one of the following registration forms:
• author or presenter registration form
• attendee registration form 

2. Authors/Presenters Registration policy

Authors have to register before June 23rd and use their registration code (available in the PDF confirmation letter sent by email by the SEE office after their registration) to submit their final Camera-Ready paper in EDAS.

Reminder, Following PIMRC policy since 2004, please note:

• at least one full or limited registration must be attached to each accepted paper.
• In case of multiple accepted papers by one author, one full or limited registration must be attached to each paper.
• Discounted IEEE Student fees are not accepted for papers presenters. The presenter, even if he/she is a student, must register with a full or limited presenter registration.

Presenters must select the registration(s) fees according to their status (member or non member) and to the number of papers accepted (1st, 2nd, 3rd) they will present.
If their co-author(s) wishes to attend PIMRC 2008, he/she or they need to make another registration.

Workshop presenter registration policy: The authors of accepted papers for a workshop need to register for the workshop in which there are presenting the paper. This does not include the registration to the conference neither the social programme. If the workshop presenter wants to attend the conference, he has to register to the conference as well according to his status.

• Gala event on Sept. Tuesday, 16th is included in the full registration fees.
• Welcome reception held on September, 15th is included in both registration fees.

The registration fee will correspond to the one applicable on the date of online registration. You will receive an email of confirmation which allows you to consult your datas and add more items if necessary. On-site registration

On-site registration will start on Monday 15th September 2008 from 08:00 at the PIMRC registration desk located: Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes, La Croisette, BP 272 06403 CANNES France.

Author registration

Authors have to register before June 23rd and use their registration code (delivered in the confirmation letter sent by SEE after processing the registration) to submit their final Camera-Ready paper. Reminder : at least one full or limited egistration must be attached to each accepted paper. In case of multiple accepted papers by one author, one full or limited registration must be attached to each paper. Discounted IEEE Student fees are not accepted for papers presenters.

The FULL registration fees include participation to the conference, the final programme, CDRom proceedings, coffee breaks and lunches from 16 September to 18 September and the social events : welcome reception on 16th September, the gala event on 16 September 2008. The LIMITED registration fees include all the above items, excluding the gala event. The mentioned rates are the one available at the time of registration; the reduced rate applied until 15th August 2008.

Cancellations of conference participation

Changes of conference program

In the event of cancellations by speakers or other changes in the main conference program, no full or partial refund of the registration fee can be made.

Liability

The PIMRC 2008 Congress and/or its agents have the right for any reason beyond their control to alter or cancel, without prior notice, the conference or any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly to PIMRC 2008.

The PIMRC 2008 Congress and/or its agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expenditure or inconvenience cause as a result of such alteration or cancellation.

6. Student Grants

We are pleased to announce that PIMRC 2008 has been allocated $5000 USD from IEEE ComSoc to be used for the awarding of Student Travel Grants. Grants are usually $1,000 USD each. Applications need to be submitted via EDAS before Monday 9 June 2008 and should be comprised of i) a resume, ii) a letter that briefly summarises the applicant's current research interests/accomplishments, along with a description of how PIMRC will benefit his/her professional development, and iii) a supporting letter from the advisor stating that (a) the student is in good academic standing in the PhD program, (b) why the student is in need of a travel grant, and (c) how PIMRC will benefit the student's research progress.

This concerns students based in France only. Le projet ResCom du GDR ASR est heureux d'annoncer qu'il pourra financer l'inscription à PIMRC 2008 de certains étudiants basés en France. 7. Registration Desk

The registration and information desk is located in the entrance hall to the Palais des Festivals et des Congres de Cannes (see the following map). All delegates must register upon arrival to receive their conference material including a conference bag and a badge. This is a prerequisite for participating in the conference activities. The opening hours of the registration desk are:
