1. VISA Letters The paper acceptance email usually suffices to obtain a VISA to enter France. However, if you need nonetheless a VISA letter from the organizers in order to obtain a VISA to enter France, please generate a VISA letter in EDAS by going to your paper and clicking on the VISA icon. Hotel Reservation You are strongly encouraged to do your hotel reservation via the organizer, who have negotiated special rates on all hotels ranging from 1* to 5* hotels. Hotel reservation can be done here. 3. Travel You have the following means of reaching Cannes. By Boat:
If you are in possession of a boat or a yacht, you may reach Cannes via its sea-port. For details, please, consult the authorities here . By Car:
If you live in South France or South-West Italy, you can reach Cannes easily driving with a map generated by popular services such as mappy, viamichelin or Google maps. By Train:
If you live in France you may use France's excellent railway network to reach Cannes, where routes, timetables, prices and reservation can be found here. By Plane:
The airport of the city Nice is just 30km from Cannes. It is hence easiest to fly into Nice, where a large choice of airlines is available. Information about the airport can be found here . Participants to PIMRC 2008 will be entitled a reduction up to 45% on the regular fare for a round trip journey (subject to conditions) on the Air France domestic network and special rates on the international company network.

4. Arrival At your arrival by plane at Nice airport, you have the following options to reach Cannes. By Bus:
Buses run frequently between Nice airport and Cannes at cost of 14.20/23.20€ (single/return). Journey time is 50 min. Timetables are available here . The buses can easily be found at the exit of the airport with more details to be announced. By Taxi:
A Taxi from Nice airport to Cannes costs around 70€ and takes about 30 min. Higher class hotels also usually can arrange a pick-up for you from/to the airport. 5.
