Posters can be of any form but should not exceed the typical A0 size (portrait only). For technical papers, the authors should follow the following steps: 1. Writing of Paper Papers should be written following the IEEE paper templates available here. Papers should be written in English, not exceeding 5 double-column pages (a maximum of one page overlength is allowed which will be charged for). Please, ensure that the bibliography obeys IEEE rules and is complete, i.e. page numbers, volume, etc, are provided. 2. Submission of Paper The paper submission deadline is closed. Workshop papers need to be uploaded via EDAS here and special session papers here. 3. Registration of Paper For your accepted paper (conference, workshop, special session) to appear in the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore as well as be indexed by EI, you need to register it here by 23 June 2008 in order to obtain a unique registration code. 4. Preparing Camera-Ready Version The final camera-ready version needs to obey stringent contents and formatting rules: - Contents: Please, address all pertinent comments provided by the reviewers which will be checked upon by the technical chairs.
- Formatting: The easiest is to use the updated templates provided here to produce a version which is compliant with the IEEE.
5. Producing Camera-Ready Version To produce the final PDF, IEEE eXpress needs to be used to check the files for consistency. Please, follow the these steps: - Log into http://216.228.1.34/PDFeXpress/log.asp either by using an existing account or creating a new one. The conference ID is 'pimrc08x'.
- Click on "Create New Title". Enter the paper title as appearing on the final paper and click on "Submit File for Checking or Converting". Upload either the PDF you already produced beforehand or any other source file as detailed here. Note that if you upload the Latex source code that the entire source code including DVI needs to be zipped and uploaded.
- Click on "Continue" and then check on the status regularly (either directly on the website or by checking notification emails). The converted PDF file should appear within hours. If there are any problems, please, contact the given support line and request manual conversion.
6. Uploading Camera-Ready Version and Copyright Form The produced final PDF can now be uploaded to EDAS. Please, log into your EDAS account and upload the final version together with the prior provided registration code. Also, by clicking on the copyright link in EDAS under your paper, please, submit the electronic copyright form of your paper.
