Final Version Submission Procedures

Authors of accepted papers should prepare a final camera-ready version of no more than eight (8) pages in IEEE double-column conference style, including results, figures and references, with a maximum file size of 4MB. Detailed instructions are provided below. You are responsible for ensuring that your submission is in valid format and that it will be readable and printable. Please double check your file before submitting it.

IEEE Double-Column Conference Style Formatting:

Prepare your paper in accordance with IEEE Double-Column Conference Style formatting guidelines.

- If you are a LaTeX user, download the LatexSample.zip file and use the document class file. The LatexSample zip file also contains a sample paper.
--- LatexSample.zip ---

- If you are a Microsoft Office user, you can download the MS Word template.
--- MS Word template ---

After you have prepared your paper using the guidelines provided above, produce the version that can be uploaded for inclusion in the proceedings. Final version of accepted papers cannot exceed eight (8) pages in IEEE double-column conference style, including results, figures and references, with a maximum file size of 4MB. Only US Letter paper format is accepted. Do not number your manuscript pages. Please strictly adhere to the following instructions.

IEEE requires that the PDF files submitted for accepted papers be 100% IEEE Xplore compliant. Papers will be included in the proceedings only if they are fully compliant with this requirement: no exception.

  • If you prepared your paper using LaTex, you can usually create an IEEE Xplore compliant PDF file using your dvi file and the following commands:

       dvips -o mypaper.ps -G0 -tletter mypaper
       ps2pdf mypaper.ps mypaper.pdf

Be sure to run your final pdf file through the IEEE PDF eXpress compliance check before submitting the final version (see below for details)

  • If you used MS Word to prepare your paper, a good way to convert a Word file to a IEEE Xplore compliant PDF is to use IEEE PDF eXpress (see instructions below). You will need to register, log in, and upload your MS Word file to the PDF eXpress website. The website will convert your uploaded MS WORD file to a compliant PDF file for you and send you an email shortly with the converted PDF file in attachment.

Please make sure that your PDF file passes the IEEE PDF eXpress compliance check. This is an IEEE requirement for the publication of the proceedings. If you are unfamiliar with the use of the IEEE PDF eXpress, you may refer to the following instructions for producing IEEE Xplore compliant PDF files.

To access IEEE PDF eXpress verification site, go to www.pdf-express.org, follow the instructions and use "ieeessci2009x" as Conference ID.

After you have prepared your camera ready final IEEE Xplore compliant paper use the link included in your paper acceptance email to upload your final paper to the conference submission web site.
