Science Fair Judges Needed

Science fair season is coming up, providing an opportunity for students from middle schools and high schools to show their projects and hear comments from professionals like you. Traditionally, the IEEE has provided both prizes and judges for local fairs and we need your help once again. We especially want practitioners in bio-engineering, but all disciplines are welcome.

So, did you get all the electronic toys you wanted for Christmas? I know that electronics was one of the hottest gift categories this year!

Yes, itâ??s neat to have some of these gadgets, but I also enjoy simply marveling at what the designers are doing in consumer electronics. The iPhone was one such device â?? my niece (12 years old!) received one, and the next day (more…)
