Volunteer School Science Presenters Wanted

by @ 5:09 pm. Filed under ALL

School Science Presenters Wanted â?? AVS Science in Action Support and Enhance Local Science Education with Science in Action – an educational outreach project of the Northern California Chapter of the American Vacuum Society
Weâ??re looking for Bay Area professionals with science and engineering backgrounds to volunteer for the Science in Action program. You can give science presentations based on pressure, gas behavior, and vacuum technology to elementary, middle, and high school students in their classrooms. This is your chance to have a little fun, and to amaze and inspire a new generation of students using equipment that the schools donâ??t have.
If youâ??re willing to make two or more school visits per school year (a few hours each), we will train you and provide the organization, equipment, and supplies. If youâ??re interested, please contact us at or!
