There is strong evidence that successful transfer of advanced research form University to Industry requires the faculty member(s) and students to directly engage in the transfer process by becoming entrepreneurs.? In this dynamic and enlightening panel session, four seasoned veterans of BOTH academia and Industry will tell their stories and provide perspective, opinions, do’s and don’ts to successfully transition from academic research into commercially viable technologies.
TiE Silicon Valley and IEEE ComSoc SCV are very excited about this jointly organized seminar.? The panelists will enlighten us on the types of academic research that were transfered from University to Industry.? They will tell entrepreneurs and technologists what it takes to turn academic research into successful technologies that serve real market needs.? We will have ample time for audience interaction during the Q and A session, so get your questions ready!
