As engineers, our process of influencing in technical organizations often revolves around data and information, not around our skill as communicators and persuaders.? But the short answer to this career challenge is that it’s all in our communication style â?? your communication style.
This Course will teach some basic, proven principles of human communication, with lots of opportunity to practice new skills.? By the end of the day your new behaviors will enable you to interact with others with less stress and more understanding and better results. This will be a highly interactive, fun and informative day.? Come prepared to return to work on Monday and make a difference.
You will learn:
â?¢? Your preferred communication style.
â?¢? How to bridge your style with those of your colleagues and customers.
â?¢? How to turn any potential argument into a conversation.
â?¢? How to back people off from their “stubborn” positions.
â?¢? How men and women communicate differently and whether it matters.
