	December 03, 2003 Overview – Lightning Protection of Aircraft and Avionics Lecture will focus on the lightning environment, the effects of lightning on structure and coupling mechanisms for equipment, commercial and military design/test requirements, protection design scenarios and techniques, certification/qualification plans, and test methods, and procedures. 	November 12, 2003 Model-Based System Engineering Presentation The IEEE Aerospace & Electronic Systems Society (AESS) Connecticut Chapter will be sponsoring a joint meeting with the American Helicopter Society (AHS) Stratford Chapter, and the Society Of Women Engineers (SWE) Connecticut. This special presentation and dinner will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2003, at Oronoque Country Club.
