Feb 2008: Talk on Simulationa and design of software radio's by Jason Boh from Agilent Technologies.

October 2007: Nimit Pathak volunteers to coordinate Chapter's Student activity with the student community.

September 2007: Lecture on Practical aspects of microwave filter development by IEEE MTT Distinguished Lecturer Richard Snyder.

August 2007: Juan Luna appointed as editor for the CT chapter newsletter.

February 2007: IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Visitor Program Connecticut Section Seminar presented by Dr. Krishnendu Chakrabarty .

December 2006: Chapter hosts its second meeting. Topic "E-Voting : Invitation to high speed fraud".

November 2006: Jigar Parsana appointed as Chief Publisher for Web content and Email.

October 2006: Chapter hosts its first meeting. Topic "Software Process Management".

June 2006: Member Satisfaction Survey to gauge member interest and participation. Archived survey can be found here.

May 2006: First Step taken towards forming Chapter ExCom. Tom Freund appointed as Chief Events Coordinator and acting Secretary for the Chapter.

May 2006: Forming of Chapter E-Notice program

May 2006: First Launch of the IEEE, Computer Society, CT Chapter website
