We have some exciting news to share

Karen Panetta, IEEE Women in Engineering Committee chair and IEEE Fellow, will be appearing LIVE on NBC’s The Today Show on Friday, 18 July.

It would be great if IEEE members and/or their families are able to show their support by being part of the outside audience. Let us know if you can come, and on the day of the show, we will supply you with an IEEE t-shirt and sign to hold for the TV camera to focus on.

Karen will be discussing the nationally acclaimed Nerd Girls program, which she created and founded. Nerd Girls are well rounded, intelligent engineers and scientist that share common popular interests of today's youth. They are showing future generations of engineers and scientists how engineering helps improve the lives of individuals, communities and the environment.

Arrive early to get a prime spot and bring your own signs to show support or ask us to bring you one.
