Alexandra is the immediate past Vice-Chair of the IEEE WIE NY Section. As the 2008 WIE NY Section Chair Alexandra plans to promote IEEE membership and the retention of women members, and to host technical presentations and seminars that provide knowledge to WIE members so that they may enhance and advance their careers.

Heba Elsayed is employed as a programmer for the Research Foundation of the City University of New York. She earned a Bachelor of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, with Honors in Computer Science from Fordham University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science. She previously served as Secretary of the IEEE New York Section Women In Engineering Affinity Group.

Amelie Gong is employed at MTA New York City Transit as an Assistant Electrical Engineer. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from SUNY - Binghamton. She currently is the IEEE New York Section Awards and Recognition Chair.

Marlen is an independent contractor specializing in technical writing. She holds a MS in Telecommunication from Pace University and a BS in Computer science from Brooklyn College of CUNY. She is the Managing Editor for the NY Monitor, the newsletter of the IEEE New York Section.
