As Section Chair Alexandra plans to promote IEEE membership and the retention of women members. In addition, she will host technical presentations and seminars that provide knowledge to WIE members so that they may enhance and advance professionally as well as personally.

Heba Elsayed is employed as a programmer for the Research Foundation of the City University of New York. She earned a Bachelor of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, with Honors in Computer Science from Fordham University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science. She previously served as Secretary of the IEEE New York Section Women In Engineering Affinity Group.
