Job Description	SUMMARY 
As a member of the marketing department the Marketing Communications 
Specialist is responsible to drive activities to achieve the following objectives:
o Develop and produce publications, brochures, datasheets and advertising to 
effectively communicate the company products/strategy/identity to customers, 
the employees, and the broader community.
o Define and execute a public relations plan to effectively communicate 
the company products/strategy/identity to customers, the employees, and the 
broader community.
o Organize and carry out events, sales training and speaking engagements to 
promote the company to customers and sales channel employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Works closely with other members of the Marketing Team and Segment Product Marketing 
personnel to develop sales collateral, events/tradeshow and PR which effectively 
execute to the company strategy.
2. Researches and recommends public relations activities that support company 
objectives/strategy. Presents recommendations to management for approval. 
Responsible for managing all aspects of relationships with trade press and working 
with PR agency to execute to PR objectives. 
3. May develop and coordinate multimedia packages—letters, brochures, video, —to 
communicate to particular audiences.
4. May develop draft advertising text and layouts as part of advertising campaign 
materials and presents to marketing management for review and approval. 
5. Reviews literature, previous marketing materials, and gathers materials of 
competitive companies in the field to use in accomplishing objectives in all 
areas of responsibility – sales collateral, PR, advertising, sales training, etc. 
6. Define and execute new product launch plans.
7. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of market-specific communications vehicles and 
sales initiatives.
8. Studies company’s products to be familiar with their features and benefits. 
Understands uses of products and improvements over previous models. Decides upon
theme or features to be stressed in promotional material.
9. Monitors execution of all activities and checks for success level at conclusion.
10. May be referral person for questions on department communications materials.
11. Researches, analyzes, and recommends new marketing opportunities/strategies. 
12. Initiates new techniques to improve marketing results. 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Overlooks the activities of contractor and/or intern.
• Manage various vendors for PR, multimedia, advertising, etc. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with MBA or Bachelor’s degree in 
marketing with related field or equivalent experience. 
• At least five years of marketing communications experience, preferably within 
the semiconductor industry.
• Must have a strong knowledge of graphic design applications and photography. 
Displays a strong sense of art direction and creativity.

participation in Standards Committees and management of independent in-house
research in support of the Standards. Includes the following
responsibilities: Participation in Standards Committees; Independent

generators, etc); Provide training and guidance on Power & Grounding (P&G)

Program Manager

Our client is a design/build/operate telecommunications company and they are
looking for a program director/manager that can handle a wireless telecom
roll out in New York City.

The company has been awarded contracts for several big Distributed Antenna
System (DAS) design-builds for carrier clients that involve over 150 miles
of fiber deployment and 1,000 equipment attachments to Verizon/ConEd/DOT
poles.   The project will involve extensive aerial fiber attachement work,
underground conduit/fiber placement and manhole work.  The project will
be completed using mostly in-house resources with some subcontracted suppliers.

They are seeking someone who can manage an 18 month roll-out on a $40M-$60M
project, providing an interface to the clients as well as managing schedule,
budget, risk and personnel on the project.


Project Management

    * Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate
to meet changing needs and requirements.
    * Directs the actions of field superintendents and project managers
in the completion of the project.
    * Manages broad operational aspects of a project and scope.
    * Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
    * Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
    * Overall responsibility for project safety and the strict adherance
to safety standards and regulations.

    * Broad knowledge of fiber optic and telecommunications construction
techniques, city regulations and restrictions.
    * Wireless experience is a big plus.

The project involves the design and installation of a wireless, cellular
access system throughout the 5 boroughs for several wireless carriers.
The network will carry both voice and data and is a form of distributed
antenna system.  The antennae are mounted on power or light poles and
linked by fiber optic cabling to a central switch center/base station.
Each antenna covers a small footprint (picocell/microcell concept) and
simply converts the RF into an optical signal (OC-48) for transmission
back to the central switch site.

The overall team that this person will manage is expected to be around
30 Project Managers and Constuction Superintendents.
