2006 IEEE Sarnoff Symposium surpases expectations again
With a 63% increase in attendance from last year the IEEE Sarnoff Symposium affirms its position as the leading telecom event in New Jersey.
The Symposium Committee would like to thank all speakers, exhibitors, tutorial presenters and session chairs for making this a great event.

Keynote Speakers:
Nick Satomi, Executive Vice President, NEC Laboratories America, Inc. will give the keynote presentation "Network drives Symbiotic Life" on March 28.Frank De Fina, President, Panasonic System Solutions Company, and Dr. Paul Liao, CTO, Panasonic Corporation of North America, will talk about Business and Technical Convergence of broadcasting and communications functions (Symposium Reception and Dinner on March 27)
The 2006 IEEE Sarnoff Symposium will continue its tradition of almost 30 years in bringing together professionals and industry experts to exchange information on the latest developments in communication systems, microwave technology and multimedia applications. The conference includes an exhibition of components, technologies, systems and services and also features tutorials and a student poster session.

Breaking News: Pre-registration surpasses 2005 attendance two weeks before the event: Two weeks before the Symposium doors will open registration has already exceeded the total number of attendees from last year. The exhibition is sold out and a record crowd is expected to descend on the Nassau Inn on March 27 and 28.
Commercial Panel announced: 6 business executives and top researchers will discuss “Wireless Communications - Progress, Challenges, and Issues” on Tuesday, March 28 at 11:00am. (for complete details click here)

Record number of Technical Papers selected for presentation: The Technical Program Committee has selected 98 papers from the 194 abstracts submitted. See the Technical Sessions page for a list of accepted papers.
Tutorials Sessions expanded: This year's tutorial program will feature three parallel tracks of in-depth tutorials. See the Tutorial page for a detailed list.
2005 IEEE Sarnoff Symposium surpases expectations
Over 200 attendees and 18 exhibitors filled the ballrooms of the Nassau Inn, a significant increase over last year (see pictures of the Symposium).
