Nick Satomi is Executive Vice President of NEC Laboratories America, Inc., a subsidiary of NEC Corporation in Japan. Prior to this assignment, he was General Manager of the Ubiquitous Platform Development Division of NEC Corporation. He received a BS in electrical engineering from Waseda University in Japan in 1975. He joined NEC Corporation and has engaged in R&D for network areas since that time. He worked at NEC America, Inc in Fairfax, VA from 1982 to 1987. He assumed his current position at NEC Laboratories America, Inc. in Princeton, NJ in July 2005.
