April 30, 2007
Following a long-standing tradition the 2007 Sarnoff Symposium is featuring a student paper/poster session and contest on April 30, 2007. At the start of the session, students will give a short presentation of their research and will then be available for detailed discussion in front of their posters.
To be considered for the Student Paper/Poster Session, papers must be submitted electronically in pdf format to the Student Paper Chair, Prof. Shalinee Kishore (skishore@lehigh.edu), by January 31, 2007. Paper topics should be research-oriented and must be consistent with the theme of the Symposium (Advances in Wired and Wireless Communications). The paper format should follow the format posted at the symposium website with maximum five pages. Authors will be notified of student paper acceptance by March 15, 2007.
Papers not received by January 31, 2007 will not be considered for publication.
The three best posters/papers will be awarded prizes. Details for the Student Paper Contest can be found here (
PDF). The Best Student Poster Awards Presentation will be held during the Symposium Reception. All presenters are invited to come to the Reception (no ticket required for student presenters).
All accepted papers will be available in the Student Paper Digest at the poster presentation.
All student presenters must register for the Symposium (at the student rate).
