2013 Western New York Image Processing Workshop

The Western New York Image Processing Workshop (WNYIPW) is a venue for promoting image processing research in our area and for facilitating interaction between academic researchers, industry researchers, and students.  The workshop comprises both oral and poster presentations.

The workshop, now in its 16th year, is sponsored by the Rochester chapter of the IEEE Signal Processing Society with technical cooperation from the Rochester chapter of the Society for Imaging Science and Technology.

The workshop will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013, in Louise Slaughter Hall (Building SLA/078) at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY.

Parking Instructions

Any non-RIT attendees are allowed to park in either Lot T or the Global Village Lot and then walk to Louise Slaughter Hall (SLA Building).  See the campus map with parking information.

Paper submission (4 pages) opens: September 16, 2013
Paper submission closes:

Notification of Acceptance: October 21, 2013
Submission of final paper (4 pages): November 4, 2013

Registration

Please register for WNYIPW here.  The early registration deadline has passed, but you may still register online at the higher (onsite registration) price.  Onsite registration will be also available, with onsite registration fees payable by cash or check.  Fees enable attendance to all sessions and include lunch.  Registration fees are:
  • General Registration: $45 (with online registration by 11/15), $50 (online after 11/15 or onsite)
  • Student Registration: $25 (with online registration by 11/15), $30 (online after 11/15 or onsite)
  • IEEE or IS&T Membership: $25 (with online registration by 11/15), $30 (online after 11/15 or onsite)

Papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore digital library.  Past WNYIPW proceedings can be found here:
At least one author of each accepted paper must attend the workshop to give an oral or poster presentation.  Failure to present the paper will result in automatic withdrawal of the paper from being published in the proceedings.

Awards

To encourage student participation, a best student paper award will be given.
