Australia Council Activities

On behalf of the Sections, the Council:
  • coordinates Australian visits of international distinguished lecturers,
  • liaises with other technical and professional societies at a national level,
  • promotes IEEE through national activities,
  • supports Australian hosting of major IEEE conferences,
  • acts or responds on behalf of Australian Sections as required from time to time.
 

2012 IEEE AC Outstanding Student Branch Competition

The IEEE Australia Council regrets to inform that the Outstanding Student Branch Competition will not be held in 2012. However, Australia Council is planning to hold the competition in 2013.

Distinguished Lecturer Visits

Australia Council assists with organising Australian tours by IEEE Distinguished Lecturers and other international visitors.

IEEE Conferences in Australia

Australia is a wonderful place to hold a conference.  It is a friendly, secure and stable destination with excellent infrastructure and a hospitable climate.  The Australia Council strives to support the hosting of IEEE conferences in Australia.  The following is a list of upcoming IEEE conferences in Australia:
