Australia Council By-Laws

The present by-laws were drafted by Peter Wills and Enn Vinnal from the Victorian Section in early 2002, ratified by the Council in October 2002, and approved by the Region 10 Director in January 2003. Formal approval was given at the RAB (as MGAB was then known) meeting on 13 February 2003, at which point the present by-laws came into effect.

Some minor changes have been proposed to the by-laws, to reflect the change of name of Northern Australia Section (previously known as North Queensland Section) and to clarify the tie-breaking powers of the Chair. These changes were drafted by the previous Chair, Keith Kikkert, and approved by the Council on 10th December, 2008.  They are now awaiting review by MGAB.
