Welcome to the IEEE CPMT Bangalore Chapter. The chapter was inaugurated by Prof. Madhavan Swaminathan, Deputy Director, Packaging Research Center at Georgia Tech USA on Friday 10, Dec 2004 at Texas instruments Auditorium, CV Raman Nagar, Bangalore-560053. CPMT Bangalore Chapter will focus on Packaging activity and later migrate to the manufacturing aspects, as the component manufacturing will happen as a sequel. The critical mass is here in Bangalore in VLSI design, PCB Design leading to increased Systems activity.
The CPMT chapter wants to work closely with the Electronics industry and the educational institutions to foster the knowledge growth in packaging area and work in harmony with other organizations inside and outside of IEEE. We welcome your active participation to full-fill the mission. Thanks for your interest in this area of importance to the Industry and India.
