An educational lecture meeting was organized at MCKV Institute of Engineering, Liluah, Howrah, West Bengal, India, as a part of the Post-Conference Schedule of International Conference on Computing, Communication, and Manufacturing (ICCM 2014), organized by MCKV Institute of Engineering. This educational lecture meeting was Technically Co-Sponsored by joint IEEE CSS-IMS chapter, Kolkata Section, and was held on 24 December, 2014. Prof. Subhas Mukhopadhyay, IEEE Fellow, Professor, Massey University, New Zealand delivered a lecture on the topic of “Publishing a Good Scientific Paper in a SCI Journal”. On this occasion, Prof. Dipankar Sanyal, Interim Chairman, joint IEEE CSS-IMS chapter, Kolkata Section detailed the present and intended future activities of joint IEEE CSS-IMS chapter, Kolkata Section and encouraged those present in the audience to join this chapter by describing, overall, the benefits of IEEE membership. There were 120 participants in this lecture out of which 10 were IEEE members. A large number of students were present in the audience and had extensive interactions with Prof. Mukhopadhyay.
