The joint Chapter of Circuits and Systems Society and Control Systems Society started in eighties. In 1993 under the Chairmanship of (late) Dr. Jayanta K. Pal it received Outstanding Chapter Award from the Control Systems Society and in 2002 from Circuits and Systems Society under Prof. Sudhanshu S. Jamuar. Since August 2003 Dr. M. Jayadeva of IIT Delhi is the Chairman of the Chapter. In the year 2009 Chapter had 1 major activity (with a series of seminars).

Present EXECOM of the Chapter, which assumed the office on April 13, 2007, consists of the following members:
