The joint Chapter of Power Electronics Society, and Industrial Electronics Society was formed with Prof. Bhim Singh, SMIEEE as its Interim Chairman on December 05, 2006. Subsequently in the AGM of February 04, 2007 under the leadership of Prof. Singh an EXECOM consisting of 9 Members assumed the office. In the year 2012 Chapter had in total 47 activities.

With PELS, and Delhi Section as Technical Co-Sponsors, IEEE PELS-IES and IEEE PES-IAS Delhi Chapters financially co-sponsored India International conference on Power Electronics-(IICPE2010) at Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India from January 28 to 30, 2011.

 

With PES, IAS, PELS, & IES as Technical Co-Sponsors, and with the support provided by IEEE PELS-IES Delhi Chapter, IEEE PES-IAS Delhi Chapter organized 2010 Joint International Conference on Power Electronics, Drives and Energy Systems & 2010 Power India at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, and India Habitat Center, New Delhi, India from December 20 to 23, 2010.
