WIE of IEEE, Kerala Section:
WIE Affinity Group of IEEE Kerala Section came into existence in June 2002. This is the first WIE Affinity group formed in the Asia Pacific Region (R10).

IEEE Women in Engineering
- RECOGNIZES Women's outstanding achievements in electrical and electronics egineering through IEEE Awards nominications.
- ORGANIZES receptions at major technical conferences to enhance networking and to promote membership in WIE
- ADVOCATES women in leadership roles in IEEE governance
- PROVIDES assistance with the formation of new WIE chapters and supports ongoing activities.
- PROMOTES members grade advancement for women to the grades of Senior Member and Fellow.
- FACILITATES the development of mentioring and educational programs within IEEE to improve the entry into and promote the retention of women in engineering programs.
