Annoucement

Please be informed, the MTT-AP-EDS joint chapter has been restructured and renamed to MTT-EDS-SSCS since 15th of May, 2008. The Penang chapter is now a joint chapter of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society, IEEE Electron Devices Society and IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society.

The reason for the change in IEEE Society affiliation is to better focus on the related industries in the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone. We continue to welcome all IEEE and non-IEEE members to our technical meetings.

The elected executive committee is as follows:

Chow Yut Hoong, Chairperson

Bernard Hiew, Vice Chairperson

Seow Boon Eu, Secretary and Webmaster

Yong Chin Kong, Treasurer

Richard Keating, Committee Member
