Student Prizes
Since 1992 IEEE SA has annually presented an award to a student from each university who has demonstrated outstanding performance at second-year level in a practical subject relevant to IEEE fields of interest. For more information on this price feel free to contact your local university representative or IEEE secretary.
The "IEEE Australia Council - Outstanding Student Branch Award” recognises the outstanding Student Branch in Australia based on its success in meeting the objectives of IEEE through the implementation of Student Branch programs. The competition opens the 1st of May 2007, entrirs close the 31 of August 2007 and the winner will be announced on the 30th of October 2007. Please see this flyer for further details. [link]
IEEE SA Section Student Travel Award
IEEE SA has established a "Travel Award" intended to assist students and others to deliver conference publications at interstate ($300) or overseas ($1000) venues. For more details on the award see the Travel Fund section of our website.
