4th IES/IEEE Joint Medal of Excellence Award, 2008
Deadline Extended to
15-APR-2008
The Institution of
Engineers, Singapore (IES) and the Institute of Electrical
and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE) will be
awarding the 4th IES/IEEE Joint Medal of Excellence Award in
2008. The aim of the award is to promote engineering as a
profession. The award is
a recognition of an individual for his/her contribution in
the fields of Electricity, Electronics, Computer Science and
Systems, Management, and/or related fields, which has made a
significant impact on society. Past recipients of the
IES/IEEE Joint Medal of Excellence Awards include Er. Prof
Su Guaning, President of Nanyang Technological University,
Er. Prof Hang Chang Chieh, Professor of National University
of Singapore and Mr Wong Ngit Liong, President and CEO of
Venture Corporation Ltd.
