The 2015 IEEE Singapore MTT/AP Chapter Shizuoka University – NTU Student Workshop was held on 19 November 2015 from 2.30pm to 5.30pm at Executive Seminar Room S2.2-B2-53, School of EEE, Nanyang Technological University (NTU). The workshop was co-organized by IEEE Singapore MTT/AP Chapter, MTT-S and AP-S Student Branch Chapters, with support from Infinitus Center for Infocomm Technology, School of EEE, NTU.

Under the Microwave and Radio Frequency track, the winners are:

2014 IEEE Singapore MTT/AP Chapter Best Student Papers Workshop
The 2014 IEEE Singapore MTT/AP Chapter Best Student Papers Workshop was organized by IEEE Singapore MTT/AP Chapter, with the assistance of both MTT-S and AP-S Student Branch Chapters, and held on 15 November 2014 at NTU EEE Executive Seminar Room (S2.2-B2-53). The workshop began with a short address by the Chapter Chair, A/P Tan Eng Leong.
Following the address, each speaker did a 15-min presentation on his shortlisted paper, followed by a 5-min question and answer. After all the presentations were completed, the best student paper contest committee chair, Dr. Michael Ong acknowledged the panel judges and helpers for the workshop before announcing the winners.
The prizes consisted of three Best Papers, two Honorable Mentions, and two Consolations, which were presented to the winners by the IEEE Fellow and Past Chair, Prof. Chen Zhining. The winners are:
Best Paper (not in order of merit): Gan Theng Huat, Shang Yang, and Bi Xiaojun
Honorable Mention: Zhang Songbai and Long Yunshen
Consolation: Kush Agarwal and Rangarajan Jegadeesan

NUS ECE GSS 2014
The National University of Singapore ECE Graduate Student Symposium is the annual conference for Graduate Students from the ECE Department to showcase their research. A full day technical session for Microwave and RF was held on the May 22, 2014. This event is partially sponsored and supported by IEEE Singapore MTT/AP Chapter as well as MTT-S and AP-S Student Branch Chapters in the Singapore Section. The symposium opened with a keynote speech given by Dr. Ulf Schneider where he shared valuable insights on the art of innovation. Student members from MTT-S and AP-S Student Branch Chapters participated in the symposium and shared their research achievements. There were a total of 9 oral presentations.
