It is time to start our Technical Meeting series again! The first Technical Meeting of the Baltimore Chapter of the IEEE Lasers and Electro-Optics Society for 2008 is scheduled for Monday, October 6th at Historical Electronics Museum, 1745 West Nursery Road, Linthicum, Maryland. Light refreshments will be served beginning at 5:30 pm, followed by a lecture at 6 pm entitled "Towards High-Performance and Reconfigurable Optical Communication Networks" by our guest speaker, Dr. Alan Willner, from the Ming Hsieh Dept. of Electrical Engineering, University of Southern California.
