IEEE Northern Virgina Section Membership Development Committee
This is a request for volunteers to serve on the IEEE Northern Virgina Section Membership Development Committee from its Chair Murty Polavarapu. As the largest Section in Region 2, Northern Virginia needs your help in reaching out to our members locally. Specifically, we need volunteers who can help with the following activities:
1. Welcoming new members to our local activities and helping them find a professional home locally
2. Helping with senior membership elevation requests (organizing elevation events and providing references)
3. Reaching out to members who have not renewed
4. Recruiting new members
IEEE is a volunteer-led, volunteer-driven organization and especially at local level, we need volunteers to create and sustain a thriving entity that we can all take pride in.
