IEEE "The Institute" on line

IEEE has been busy this year making improvements to better meet your needs. Among them, starting in January, The Institute, your member newspaper, will change the way it delivers news to you. To bring you more timely information and to further the commitment of the IEEE to conduct business electronically, we will be publishing monthly online-only editions as well as four additional quarterly print newspapers which, as before, will be mailed to you along with IEEE Spectrum. The online editions will include:

  • the most current news about IEEE and its members;
  • expanded coverage of upcoming IEEE conferences;
  • comprehensive updates on IEEE products and services; and
  • more information from IEEE Regions, Sections and Societies.
To help ensure that you do not miss valuable news, you will receive an e-mail message-- The Institute Online Alert -- the business day after each issue is posted online. The alert will summarize a selection of articles from the publication and contain links to the full stories. All members with email addresses will receive the alerts, as a part of your enhanced member service.
