Program: High-performance and Power Efficient Computing
                   with Graphical Processing Unit (GPU)

Speaker: Dr. Xiaoming Li, Professor, UD Electrical Engineering

The high end graphics processors allow complex math computations to be made in the graphics processor itself. A demonstration of a simulator showing a large number of bodies in motion due to gravitation attraction showed what appeared to be real time motion. Special programming tools are available for these processors which allow application development.
