Holly, our IEEE WIE region 2 coordinator, has all the answers for you. Holly will be driving from New Jersey to meet with WIE Pittsburgh. This meeting coincides with the annual IEEE picnic. So please come out and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon at Boyce Park with the members and friends of the Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group and the IEEE Pittsburgh Section. There will be a lot of food, games, and fun in addition to an interesting talk from Holly.
Let’s get together, enjoy our picnic and plan what WIE members would like to see happen in our meetings. Your participation and input are very important to our group. Hope to see everyone there. About the speaker: Holly is currently a project manager for the Airport Safety Technology R & D Sub-Team, AJP-6311, at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City, New Jersey. She performs research and development of Visual Guidance equipment and Pavement Marking Materials. She has been with the Federal Aviation Administration for 22 years. Her experience includes two years with the Environmental Engineering Branch, Depot Engineering, AAC-445C where she found replacements for obsolete parts for lighted navaids and engine generators. She worked for eleven years with the Navigation and Landing Branch, AOS-240, in Oklahoma City, OK performing modifications and field support of lighted navaids.
Holly is a graduate of the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico U.S.A. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. She is a graduate of Capella University, Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received a Masters in Business Administration. |
