In his presentation, Mr. Davidian will provide an overview of the Federal Aviation 
Administration's Office of Commercial Space Transportation (AST) and the emerging commercial 
space industry. The presentations will cover details of AST's regulatory and promotional 
missions, discussing the permitting and licensing of vehicles and the licensing of spaceports. 
The FAA Center of Excellence for Commercial Space Transportation will also be presented. A brief 
introduction to the current commercial space industry structure, including the emerging 
infrastructure segment, will be given including select industry profiles.
