Wednesday Technical Series
The AESS/IEEE offers these 4 technical presentations to the
engineering community before taking a break for the Summer. Please
check-in from time-to-time for changes to the schedule. Here is the current series info:
5/18/11, Wednesday, Ms. Carole Hedden, Aviation Week and Space
Technology, will speak to us about "Commercial Perspectives on the
Future in Aerospace Technology." Her abstract and biography are posted

6/15/11, Wednesday, Dr. Joe
Guerci, recent Director of DARPA Special Projects Office, will speak to us
about the "Radar Horizons." His abstract and biography are posted

6/29/11, Wednesday, Dr. Wilson Felder,
the Director of the FAA’s William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ, will speak to us about the future of Air Traffic Control. His biography is here and abstract will be updated soon: Bio
7/13/11, Wednesday, Dr. Mike MacCracken, Chief Scientist for the Climate Institute, will speak to us
about "Geoengineering: A Possible Insurance Policy." His abstract and biography are posted
