July Meeting
The July meeting will be on programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Thanks go to Keith Houston/Englewood Electric for
hosting this meeting in Macon. We will meet at Englewood Electric's lab in Macon.

October Picnic
The IEEE Georgia picnic will be on Saturday, the 26th of October at the Robins Museum of Aviation. The IEEE Central Georgia
section will host this Bar B Que catered event. We ask that reservations be made by the mid-October.
November Meeting
The November meeting will be a computer security presentation by Dr Proeller. Dr George J. Proeller is an IEEE lecturer and computer security consultant.
The meeting will be on Tuesday, the 5th of November.
Thanks go to Jill Gostin of the Atlanta IEEE/Atlanta Computer Society for organizing Dr Proeller's visit to the Savannah, Central Georgia, and Atlanta sections.
Dr Clayton Paul
Dr Clayton Paul passed away in June 2012. Dr Paul,
a Mercer professor, had expertise in electro-magnetic interference and had presented to our group some years back.
A generation of Mercer engineering graduates got the value of his instruction and patience.
Thank you Dr Paul for you dedication to our profession.
2013 Officers
The 2013 slate of officers was reviewed by Past Chair Rick Noel. Rick reviewed and made his recommendations. The group was confirmed at the June meeting.
