Our section, along with the other IEEE sections of Virginia, is planning
to form a legislative liaison activity. Our objective is to have a liaison
representative for each of the 100 legislative districts. Each representative
will be available to provide technical assistance to his delegate and to
represent IEEE on any measures that are of interest to our organization.

IEEE in Virginia is over 10,000 members strong. We have an opportunity
to get the recognition we deserve and to contribute to the legislative
