Sections Congress 2008

sc2008 Sections Congress was held in Quebec City, Canada Sept. 18-22, 2008. Sections Congress is the triennial gathering of IEEE local section leadership from around the world. There were delegates from about 300 sections; over 1000 representatives from 83 countries attended!

Sections Congress is a forum where the Section Chairs speak as the collective voice of IEEE membership, expressing ideas about how IEEE can better serve its members, both now and going forward. The issues generated at Sections Congress have a major impact on the plans made by IEEE Leadership for the future of IEEE.

Read the 2008 Sections Congress Recommendations that will be submitted to the IEEE Board of Directors.
