Spallation Neutron Source

The section held a meeting on May 22, 2007 attended by 56 members and guests at the newest facility at the Oak Ridge National Laboratories in Oak Ridge, TN. Although not fully operational, the Spallation Neutron Source is impressive in it's size and mission. The group was given a presentation by Dr. Stuart Henderson followed by a tour of the facility.
