Time seems to move along so fast so I'll try to go slowly : ) Hello from San Francisco and the IEEE Sections Congress 2011. I'm excited about this trip, the learning and and community building opportunities it represents. I hope to see you all at our next meeting Sept. 22nd, so that I can share my experience with you. I'd like to extend a heartfelt Congratulations! to our own Paul Kuban for his Wireless Zigbee Patent Approval. As a warm-up for future USI presentations Paul has agreed to talk about his Patent at our next meeting, Sept. 22nd. At USI Our July 28th meeting at Lone Star was well received, though lightly attended. Thanks to Daniel Schaeffer from Matrix Design Group, for his fine presentation on mining technology. We're presently looking for a Section Volunteer to take on a Career Development Contact role for our section. I'd like to start with a simple local IEEE job site and need someone to be a central contact, while working with our Webmaster, Membership Chair, local companies, and universities. Please send in your meeting ideas and volunteer availabilities. Thanks for your attention, +Paul

So bring your favorite toy, tool, game, or passion, and give everyone else something to ask of Santa for Christmas. Officer elections will also be held at this meeting. If there is anyone who longs to be more involved, please let us know.
