Bio:


I'm the senior electrical engineer for CIHOLAS, Inc. and the 2011 IEEE Chair of the Region 3 Evansville-Owensboro Section.
As Ciholas Senior Electrical Engineer I have a long record of project success in many diverse areas. I work within small teams to design complex electronics and electrical systems that require high levels of mechanical and software integration. I enjoy creating custom solutions for my clients most difficult problems.
As the 2011 Chair, of the IEEE Region 3 Evansville-Owensboro Section I endeavor to know my members. Through increased communication I intend to gain a better understanding of my members needs, while engaging individuals, and increasing the publics appreciation of the IEEE. Dr. Paul Kuban

Position: Vice President
Bio: Paul Kuban is an Associate Professor of Engineering at the University of Southern Indiana, specializing in embedded systems development and SCADA system integration. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Louisville and an MSEE from Purdue. His industry experience includes DSP software design and DCS deployment.

Ronald W. Diersing

Dr. Ronald Diersing

Position:

Treasurer
Bio: Ronald W. Diersing received his B.S.E.E. degree from Purdue University in 2001. He then received his M.S.E.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Notre Dame in 2004 and 2007, respectively. Ron was a postdoctoral fellow with Temple University and is now an Assistant Professor in Engineering at the University of Southern Indiana. His research interests include stochastic optimal control, cumulant control, vibration control, and multi- objective control.
