 For some years now the Florida West Coast Engineering Alliance has participated in the    Outstanding Engineer Recognition Program to recognize and honor outstanding contributions by engineers in their various fields of expertise.

 This program is open to all individuals who have made major contributions to the engineering profession.  Each Engineering Society represented in the Florida West Coast Engineering Alliance is responsible for the nomination and selection of personnel for their various awards.  For 2008 the following awards will be presented by the following engineering societies;

ASME
Engineer of the Year, Student of the Year

ASHRAE
Engineer of the Year

IEEE
Engineer of the Year, Student of the Year

AIChE
Student of the Year

AFE
Engineer of the Year, Student of the Year, Certified Plant Engineer Recognition
